Ingredion recognised for food safety excellence in China

Ingredient solutions provider Ingredion Inc. was recently conferred an honour at the third annual SevenStar Awards Ceremony held in Shanghai, China, for its outstanding contributions to food safety and public health.

The Seven-Star Awards is the most authoritative food industry award program in China that honours food manufacturing, food retail and food service enterprises for their efforts to promote food safety. Ingredion wins the esteemed accolade for the second consecutive year.

A panel consisting of food safety experts, government offi cials, and scholars evaluated all participating companies over a four-month period before the winners were fi nally selected. Ingredion is the only food ingredient company that received the prestigious award. Other recipients of the award include worldrenowned food and beverage chains, multinational retailers, as well as food manufacturers.
